CLOVIS DU POITOU is a regional product created from LOEUL & PIRIOT's desire to work in partnership with the breeders of the Poitou-Charentes region in developing a range of regional products.

Today, the Poitou-Charentes region is the third largest producer of rabbits on a national level.
The region's gastronomy is simple but wholesome and is based on the produce of the land. Rabbit is one of the traditional dishes created by our ancestors.

CLOVIS DU POITOU rabbits have to conform to a specific set of conditions :

	Fed exclusively on vegetable and non-genetically modified food the rabbits are fed with 100 per cent vegetable matter enriched with vitamins and minerals.
	guaranteed Poitou-Charentes origin The rabbits must be born and reared in Poitou-Charentes. The rabbits are monitored and inspected from birth to the point of sale. A label on the product shows the name of the breeder and the rabbit's department of origin.
